Meet the
Founder
Erika Possetto
is the founder and Artistic Director of Sharm Circus School,
established in Dubai in 2011, and the visionary behind the
Dubai World Circus Festival — International Circus Competition.
With over 20 years of experience as an aerialist and circus performer,
Erika combines technical expertise, artistic vision, and a deep commitment to youth development to create festivals that are both safe and unforgettable.
Under her leadership, the festival brings together young circus artists from around the world to perform, learn, and compete under the supervision of professional instructors
and internationally renowned jurors.
Erika’s dedication ensures that every edition of the festival celebrates the wonder of circus arts while maintaining the highest standards of safety, education, and artistic excellence.

Festival Partner
​ALESSANDRA MOLTENI
Aerial artist, pole dancer, instructor,
and judge with over 10 years of experience.
Founder of Skydancer Pole Dance & Aerial Studio in Italy,
Alessandra is passionate about performance, creativity, and discovering new talent.
After performing as a Special Guest and leading a Hoop Workshop at the previous festival edition,
she returns in 2026 as a Festival Partner and Talent Selector,
giving outstanding artists the opportunity to access the
CSEN Lombardy Regional Championship in Italy.
